WATERCOLOUR ARTIST

The natural beauty of the north, rugged expanse of the west, friendly coves and foreboding seas of the east and peacefulness of local rural landscapes. are all inspiration for Irene’s paintings and sketches.

Born and raised in rural Oxford County, she now resides near Belwood – although the Marten River / Temagami area has always been a second and spiritual ‘home’.

Irene studied watercolour under Barry McCarthy, Jack Reid and Marlene Jofriet. Exhibits include the juried Insights show, Sun Art, Leyanders, and Theatre on the Grand (Fergus-Elora).
