Alana has been pursuing art since graduating from the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in 1995.- Through courses at the Haliburton School of Fine Arts and the Toronto School of Art,
- Alana has been exploring her other passion -- sculpture
- Using a combination of wire, art materials, and found objects, Alana's sculptures examine shape and portray unique
- meanings of everyday objects. Her main interest is in form and in the relationship between
- humans and their natural environment.
