Allan works in black and white using a couple of old fasahioned alternative printing- processes. Each photograph is printed on an emulsion which is hand coated onto
- watercolour and other fine papers. The prints are the size of the negative used so Allan
- often photographs with a large field camera allowing negatives up to 8" x 10" to be used.
