Originally from Kapuskasing, Gail J. Root received a B.F.A. form the University of Toronto; studied privately
- with well known watercolourist Barry McCarthy, and has professionally taught art for 27 years.
- A founding member of the Rockwood Credative Arts group, she has been invited to particiapte in juried shows
- at the MacDonald Stewart Art Gallery and the Wellington County Museum. This summer Gail will
- be involved in a workshop in Scotland.
