- ARTIST STATEMENT
- I have always enjoyed expressing myself in a visual manner. Doodles in
- school note books, chalk board worlds and most recently paintings.
I find how colour and shape interact and affect our consciousness fascinating.- Why do we feel the way we do about abstract art?
Art for me is a medium for the subconscious. Language and- pre-conceptions of what 'it should look like' can be mental blocks.
- I try to let the painting guide me and not my conscious wish.
